Zionist settlers set fire

Follow-ups | Al-Masirah Net: Zionist settlers set fire to several Palestinian vehicles in the village of Ein Yabrud, northeast of Ramallah in the central West Bank, early Wednesday morning.

Palestinian sources reported that a group of settlers stormed the village early in the morning, burned a number of vehicles parked in front of homes, and wrote racist slogans. The sources explained that in their writings on the walls, the settlers sent threatening messages bearing the name “King David’s Brigades,” as the “Hill Beasts” and “Hill Boys” used the name “King David’s Brigades” to claim responsibility for their attacks in the West Bank. In addition, this morning, settlers fenced areas of Palestinian land in Khirbet Al-Hadidiya, located in the northern Jordan Valley region, in the West Bank. The official responsible for the Jordan Valley file in Tubas Governorate, Moataz Bisharat, said in a press statement that groups of settlers began carrying out fencing work in the vicinity of Khirbet in the early morning hours. He explained that the targeted lands are officially registered with title deed papers in the name of Palestinian citizens, and do not belong to the settlers in any way. Herds of settlers continue their violations and terrorism against the Palestinian lands in the West Bank, with the full support and protection of the Israeli enemy authorities and its extremist government, which is striving to plunder more Palestinian property. From the groups known as “hilltop boys” and “paying the price,” to the new phenomenon spreading in the hills, mountains, plains, and valleys of the occupied West Bank, “hilltop monsters,” settler terrorism is escalating in form and organization and is more widespread. In recent months, the phenomenon of a new settlement group known as the “Hill Monsters” has increased in the areas of the occupied West Bank, which includes dozens of young Jews who have turned Palestinian lands and farms into arenas of violence and intimidation. This group is considered the new generation of what was known as the “Hill Boys,” but it is more extremist and organized, and moves in an aggressive spirit that does not hesitate to target the Palestinians first, and then the soldiers and settlers themselves if they try to deter it or object to its behavior. The members of this group believe in what they call “the exclusive right of the people of Israel to the Greater Land of Israel,” and they reject any political or security agreement, even if it was issued by the enemy’s government. Each cell of the “Hill Monsters” includes about ten to fifteen young men who move between random settlement outposts and carry out organized attacks that include burning Palestinian vehicles, homes, and fields, in addition to throwing stones at the soldiers themselves.
